Club Calendar
We have various types of meetings:-
"Club Nights" when all four club lathes will be set out and Members are invited to participate in a "20 Minute Turn". The aim is to produce as many forms as we can in a convivial and encouraging setting. Novices are actively encouraged to have a go, assisted by a more experienced turner, so that at the end of a Club Night everybody has "had a go" and will have a finished piece to take home.
"Club demonstrations" are done by one of the members of the club, to demonstrate a specific project or technique.
"Guest demonstrations" are done by visiting demonstrators, to show one of their own projects.
The club uses twin cameras and projector to ensure the audience has a good view of all the demonstrations.
